Auto Body Detailer

Job Overview

BRB Auto Body is seeking an experienced Auto Body Detailer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced production shop, and be very detail-oriented. Light mechanical experience is a plus. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pre-wash and final clean-up of repaired vehicles prior to delivery.
  • Thoroughly clean customer vehicles inside and out.
  • Sand and buff repair areas as needed.
  • Install any trim, decals, or additional cosmetic items as needed.
  • Immediately notify management of any potential problems with vehicles prior to delivery.
  • Work with the Production Manager on completion times.
  • Notify management when vehicles are ready for delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the detail department.
  • Move cars around as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain company loaner cars.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
